Doing your Avatar
Make sure you have an avatar saved in a host like fotki or if photobucket is still working for you first.
Go to the top (right side for me) and click on Control Panel
Next click on Miscellaneous settings.
Next click the first list that pops down saying Avatar, location, bio, etc.
...a window will pop down and you will see the word Avatar.
....in the little window next to Avatar put the URL of your Avatar in there.
Scroll down and Save Settings
That should do it :hdance

The link will only work if there is no s after the http.
So if is says:
https://images46.fotki.com/v678/photos/5/1562815/14408348/smilievi-vi.gif
It will not work. Take out the s after http so that it says:
http://images46.fotki.com/v678/photos/5/1562815/14408348/smilievi-vi.gif
Then it will work fine.
That is only for avatars, not for signatures.
